Family Memories

The memories of the Haydal family look like the snapshots of any typical small-town family. Cassie Haydal grew up in a loving home, went to good schools, enjoyed church, sports, the outdoors and being a big sister. Her life was not what we have stereotyped as a drug abuser.

Much of Mary Haydal's message to parents and the community is to make us aware that drug use among our youth is a changing picture that requires us all to open our eyes and look closer at the lives of everyone in our family.
